Studio Toriumi (the “studio”) collects only the minimum necessary information on its websites and applications. This page describes exactly what is collected and what it is used for, based on the actual implementation.

1. About this website (toriumis.com)

What we collect

• Page view counts (aggregate totals only). No personally identifying information is included.
• How many times each product link has been opened (aggregate totals only). We count nothing more than which link was clicked how many times.
• Content posted to the comment form (the name field and the comment body). This is entered voluntarily by visitors.
• A one-way hash of the visitor's IP address. Used solely to prevent consecutive spam posts.

What we do not collect

• No analytics platform (such as Google Analytics) is installed.
• No raw IP addresses are stored. Only the hashed value is saved, and the original address cannot be recovered from it.
• There are no fields for entering contact details such as email addresses, names or postal addresses.

Advertising

This website and its subdomains serve Google AdSense advertisements.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google's ads settings. For general information about third-party vendor cookies, see aboutads.info.

The studio itself does not collect or store any information that identifies visitors for advertising purposes. The only things we hold are the aggregate counts listed above.

Comments

Comment posts are published openly on this website, visible to anyone. Please do not include personal information or anything that could identify another person.

To request deletion of a comment, contact info@toriumis.com. Tell us the posting date and the string entered in the name field so we can identify the post; after checking, we will delete it.

Retention

Comments are kept until their author asks for deletion. The anti-spam hash is stored on the same row as the comment it relates to.

2. About the apps

As a rule, the studio's apps require no account registration and do not ask for your name or email address. What each app collects differs from app to app, so please also check each app's listing on the App Store and Google Play.

Namaegao (memory training game)

• Game scores and settings are stored on the device only.
• Google AdMob is used for advertising. AdMob may use identifiers to serve and measure ads.
• Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics are used to detect defects.

Inemuri Guard (in development)

• Camera and microphone input is processed on the device only; video or audio is never transmitted anywhere.
• Nap and detection records are stored on the device only.

3. Third-party services

The studio uses the following third-party services. How each handles information is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.

• Cloudflare — website delivery and data storage
• Google Fonts — web font delivery
• Google AdSense — advertising on this website
• Google AdMob / Firebase — advertising and defect detection in some apps
• Buy Me a Coffee — external destination for optional support links

4. Your rights

To request disclosure, correction or deletion of information about you, contact info@toriumis.com. Note that because this website holds no personally identifying information, the only action we can take is deleting a posted comment.

5. Children

The studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to this policy

When the content changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
