Software engineering has a famous paper called No Silver Bullet, written by Fred Brooks in 1986. Its claim is that no single technique solves everything at once.
Knowledge works the same way. There is no one book that makes you wise. All you can do is stack things in a sensible order. What's kept here is the order.

Guides
There is no way to reliably prevent dementia. But the Lancet Commission (2024) reports that around 45% of cases are associated with 14 modifiable risk factors. This covers only the part you can move, sorted by strength of evidence. No supplement links — nothing has been shown to work.
